Intentional Interim Ministry Consultation and Presentation
Prior to forming a Search Committee, a church can choose to dedicate the time to a relatively new interim process, Intentional Interim Ministry. During the intentional interim process, your church can take the time to further discover who they are, to decide what issues need to be dealt with before the new pastor is selected, and to clarify the type of pastor God is leading your church to call in the future. Then the church is prepared to receive the new pastor with focus on the future and not the past.
