Dr. Jimmy McLeod
The Interim Ministry Network of the BGCT is pleased to announce that Dr. Jimmy McLeod is this year’s recipient of the Maples, Williamson, Daehnert Award. Dr. McLeod is the current Intentional Interim Ministry pastor of Park Central Baptist Church in Dallas, and previously served in the same role at Emmanual Baptist Church in Weatherford. During these challenging assignments, Dr. McLeod has demonstrated his unique gifts in encouragement, unifying congregations, and mentoring leaders. He currently also serves as a Licensed Professional Counselor and has previously served as pastor.
The award states the recipient is recognized” “For leadership, vision, and modeling, impacting the BGCT, her churches, and her ministers.” Previous recipients include: Fred Meeks, Les Robinson, Nolan Duck, James McGlothlin, Wallace Watkins, Jan Daehnert, Charles Lee Williamson, and Dick Maples.
Dr. McLeod was joined at the award presentation by fellow interim pastors, his wife, son, and close friends. Congratulations Jimmy. We are blessed to have you counted as one of our own!
